Vers. 1, (Near Sundown, purple dusk-lights) orig. size=14-1/2 X 23-1/2" ; Vers. 2, (At First Light, no direct sunlight), same as Vers. 1., cropped on left at boat, with less light; Vers. 3, (At Early morning, light on the river) is cropped to 14-1/2 X 20", cropped on left at boat, on right- no mountains.
Note the signature & date, on Version 3, is different. On Version 3 it's signed, below right-most Indian. Version 1 & 2 are signed to the right of the Indian, below mountain range, which is cropped out of Vers. 3. Fireboat is more to the right, from the left edge, in Version 1. (The art is wider, than in Vers. 2 & 3.)
